So How Does It Work?

  • Blood is drawn from the arm (similar to a typical blood test)
  • The blood is transferred to a special centrifuge so the platelets can be isolated from the red blood cells, they can now be classified as platelet-rich plasma
  • The platelets are injected (gently and painlessly) to create an improved shape and texture.  The tissue goes from flat, sagging and/or wrinkly to more full and smooth.  The procedure takes about 15 minutes in the office!
  • PRP contains growth factors, and is an effective regenerative therapy used in all of the Vampire procedures®.  When these multipotent growth factors are injected into the areas of the breast, they become activated and grow new tissue including new collagen, new fatty tissue (for fullness and smoothness), and new blood vessels (for healthy blood flow.  Additional surface area is restored, and sensation is increased.
