Dr. Tobias graduated from State University of New York at buffalo with his Bachelors Degree in Biology, he also graduated from Sackler School of Medicine/Tel Aviv, Israel Division for New York State Students with his Masters Degree. Dr. Tobias currently limits his practice to diagnosis and treatment of mild to traumatic brain injuries.

Dr. Polsky graduated from A.T. Still University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Polsky is Board-Certified Emergency Medicine and has practiced full-time for over 30 years. He retired from the ED in July 2022. Currently, he is treating patients utilizing the latest evidence-based principles with Bio-identical Hormone Therapy and family medicine.

Dr. Gaddis graduated from Florida Atlantic University with her Master of Science Degree in Nursing, and has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 13 years. Misty is an experienced family practitioner, providing a range of services over the years, from emergency care, primary care, orthopedic, obstetrics, to women’s health. In 2018 she graduated from The University of North Florida with her Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice.

Dr. Nicholas Tisdale, a passionate and dynamic concierge medicine physician. Steeped in the traditions of personalized, high-quality care, Dr. Tisdale treats his patients like family, providing them with the same care and attention he would give to his loved ones. For him, concierge medicine isn’t just a practice – it’s a philosophy, a commitment to patient-centricity that ensures each person he treats receives the time, resources, and individualized care they need to achieve their best possible health and wellness.

Lara Nelson graduated from South University with her Master of Science Degree in Nursing in 2019. She is board certified in family practice. Lara has years of experience in family practice, gerontology, emergency medicine, and orthopedics. As a native Floridian, she is committed to providing quality patient care to the community where she was born and raised. 

Dr. McLaughlin is the founder of Back In Action Medical Center. Dr.McLaughlin is committed to changing the way healthcare is delivered. Combining medicine, physical therapy and chiropractic, the BIAM team can provide a complete package under one roof to benefit patients.

Dr. Purificati, is an experienced Chiropractic Physician with strong adjusting skills. He is passionate about treating families and athletes of all ages helping them stay healthy and performing at their best. Dr. Purificati, graduated from Palmer chiropractic of Florida and consistently learns new skills to help his patients remain healthy.

Dr. Kane graduated from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY, in 2019. In addition to her degree in chiropractic, she also has a master’s in nutrition. She initially practiced in PA, before relocating to Florida in 2021. Her goals for her patients center around wellness, looking at it from many different angles. She believes that any substance introduced into the body can have far reaching effects compromising one’s health. Functional medicine and chiropractic care have become a priority at Back in Action. She loves to treat patients of all ages from newborns to geriatrics. She works tirelessly to ensure her patients get the care needed so they can live their best life! Dr. Kane enjoys reading and working out at the gym, in addition to any opportunity to get to the beach and enjoy the sun.

Dr. Walther is a passionate and dedicated functional medicine provider specializing in diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, chronic fatigue, and autoimmune conditions. Known for his thorough and compassionate approach, he takes the time to truly listen, uncovering the hidden causes of his patients’ health challenges and crafting personalized plans to restore lasting wellness. For Dr. Walther, functional medicine is about resilience and empowerment—but also his life’s passion and calling. His faith inspires him to approach each patient with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to holistic healing. By blending advanced testing, holistic therapies, and compassionate care, he uncovers the root causes of complex health issues and empowers patients to reclaim their energy, vitality, and well-being.

Dr. Stein graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, California. With special training in techniques such as Thompson, Diversified, Activator and Flexion/Distraction, Dr. Corey comes to the Back in Action Medical team after 27 years of practicing in Long Island, New York.

Dr. Hanson earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Florida International University. Over the past 5 years, she has specialized in vestibular rehabilitation, balance and gait training, lumbopelvic dysfunction, and general orthopaedic conditions. With experience treating diverse age groups in various therapy settings, Dr. Hanson implements evidence-based treatment strategies to optimize patient wellness. She is committed to helping patients achieve their goals and promoting physical wellness and health.
